Cinema is more than entertainment. It is a powerful force that shapes imagination, influences society and reflects the cultural identity of a nation. For over a century, Bharatiya Cinema has inspired generations, created conversations and carried the stories, emotions and aspirations of Bharat to audiences across the world.
Yet, while the film fraternity has numerous platforms for celebration, recognition and entertainment, there is a need for a space where the creative minds behind cinema can pause, question, exchange ideas and collectively imagine the future of the medium.

Organised by Sanskar Bharati in association with thought leaders, industry bodies and creative partners, Cine Talkies is a “biennial symposium” and “Vichar Manthan” for the Bharatiya Film Fraternity, held in Mumbai.
It brings together Directors, Producers, Writers, Actors, Cinematographers, Editors, Music Directors, Animators, VFX & AVGC-XR professionals, Technicians, Film Students, Academicians and emerging creators from across Bharat.
Cine Talkies creates a platform to Discuss • Debate • Deliberate • Discover - exploring the creative, technological, cultural, social and business dimensions of cinema.
From storytelling and new cinematic languages to AI, animation, VFX and emerging technologies; from Bhartiya narratives and global audiences to cinema education, opportunities for young filmmakers and the future of the film ecosystem - Cine Talkies seeks to bring diverse perspectives to the same table.
We envision Cine Talkies as the “MahaKumbh of Bharatiya Cinema” - where the fraternity comes together not merely to celebrate what cinema has achieved, but to ask:
